Southbury Public Library is closed until further notice.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

Do you have a question about your science or math homework, or do you need some help understanding a concept from one of your STEM classes? Come to Homework Help with Triloshan. This program is designed to give participants one-on-one time; participants will be helped in the order they enter the meeting room.

Registration is required in order to receive Zoom Meeting Credentials. Zoom Meeting Credentials will be sent out in the reminder email approximately 24 hours before the start of the program.

Email registration note: If you are a Region 15 student, please register with a personal email; Region 15 emails won't receive library emails. If you are a student who does not go to Region 15, you may also need to use a personal email if your school emails won't receive library emails.

Triloshan is a senior at Pomperaug High School. He has been peer tutoring in math and science since middle school and currently works as a tutor at Kumon of Southbury. From Grades 8-11, Triloshan volunteered with a weekly science and math enrichment club for Grades 5-8. He has experience taking AP level biology, physics, chemistry, and calculus, as well as advanced geometry and algebra classes, and enjoys answering questions and tutoring at all levels of STEM topics.
