Join Food Explorers to make Baked Veggie Rigatoni! This healthy and delicious dinner is packed with delicious flavor and is perfect for a cosy fall dinner. 

You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • rigatoni (or other dried pasta)
  • 1 onion
  • spinach*
  • tomatoes*
  • bell pepper*
  • zucchini*
  • garlic
  • marinara sauce
  • olive oil
  • parmesan/mozzarella cheese.  

                   *Veggies choices are optional and can be modified

Families of 6th–12th Grade attendees are also welcome (just register as the primary teen when signing up, though!).

Registration is required as space is limited and in order to receive Zoom Meeting Credentials. Zoom Meeting Credentials will be sent out in the reminder email approximately 24 hours before the start of the program.

About our Presenter: Founded by Registered Dietician Katie Shepherd, Food Explorers empowers children and teens to learn about food, nutrition, and healthy eating through hands-on activities, games, and child and teen friendly cooking lessons. A UConn graduate, Katie took the plunge to create Food Explorers because she knew she wanted to work with kids and teens. All Food Explorers instructors are Registered Dieticians who are passionate about providing kids and teens with knowledge about health and nutrition, empowering them to make their own healthy choices.
