Have you tried Kanopy Kids yet? It is a children's focused collection that is a part of the library's streaming streaming service Kanopy, which you can use to borrow movies and television shows instantly with your Southbury Public Library card (with no holds). Kanopy Kids items don't use up your main Kanopy Monthly Borrowing limit. Kanopy Kids includes a mix of recreational and education content (including history, science, and new languages). Happy almost November! We will be closed several days this month: Tuesday, November 7 for Election Day (polling location will remain open); Friday, November 10 for Veterans Day (we will be open Saturday, November 11); and Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving. We look forward to seeing you all the other days this month!

Staff made pumpkins will be on display starting Friday the 13th and winners will be out until October 31st. Voting is open to the public, we’d love to see you. Voting ends October 27th.
