Program Description

Event Details

This event was cancelled due to flooding, but has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 26 from 6-7pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at Parks and Recreation at 561 Main Street South.

What is it like for tweens, teens, and their parents to survive Middle School and High School? Find out from our panel of teens and parents of high school students. Our panelists will share their own experiences, followed by time for questions. Hear stories from students and parents and learn about what has worked well for other families.

Registration is required. This event is aimed at parents of middle and high school students, those who work with those age groups, and interested community members. This event is open to residents of any town and is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.

We also have a separate panel aimed at just rising Middle School students on Tuesday, August 20 from 6-7pm.
