Join us and learn more about building and understanding family trees.  Information will include  the differences of pedigree and family group trees, gathering accurate information, understanding and analyzing relationships. Explore the different charts available, as well as sharing and publishing a tree for family members.

Eric Migdal is a 9 year resident of Pompton Lakes NJ, He is happily married with a son, a daughter and a bonus son. He has been doing family history research for over 26 years, assisting clients with family tree building, DNA test analysis, safely and effectively contacting unknown family members.

As an adoptee, He spent many years searching for his biological family with very few results. His starting information was wrong and the assumptions he made were also incorrect, He did DNA testing to assist him with finding the truth and it ultimately lead him to the correct family.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Janet Mann Fund. For more information about this program, please email Rebecca at rrandall@biblio.org or call the reference desk at 203-262-0626 ext 130.
