Come play with Southbury Poet Laureate Faith Vicinanza as she leads a writing workshop. Explore the writing process through writing prompts and sharing your work. Any time is the perfect time to work on a new skill, or spend time with an old friend, your writing, whether you write poetry or prose, short fiction, non-fiction, or a blog.
Faith Vicinanza is a published poet and visual artist who has resided in Southbury since 2016. Ms. Vicinanza has published 4 books of poetry, with 3 more on the way. She was a nominee for State Poet Laureate in 2000 and the recipient of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts Advocate for the Arts Award in 2003.
Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is required.
