The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

Program Description

Event Details

Join members of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra as they bring the book, "Max Found Two Sticks", by Brian Pinkney, to life through music! This program will be online via Zoom. 

Creating Musical Readers is a musical literacy program recommended for children ages 8 and under, developed and presented by the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra.  WSO musicians bring beloved children’s stories to life, reading aloud and playing their instruments as part of “story time” at public libraries throughout the region.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
