Write it, Polish it, Publish it

Write it, Polish it, Publish it is a 9 session writing workshop series.  Each session will start with writing prompts, and will also include reviewing your own writing.

You do not need to commit to every date.  

This group will be held by Southbury Poet Laureate Faith Vicinanza

Event Details

Come join Southbury Poet Laureate Faith Vicinanza as she leads a writing workshop as part of a year long series.  Explore the writing process through writing prompts and sharing your work.  Any time is the perfect time to work on a new skill, or spend time with an old friend, your writing, whether you write poetry or prose, short fiction, non-fiction, or a blog.  

Session 1- 

Join as we start off the years process with a focus on writing.  Come work on writing prompts as well as bring your own work.

Faith Vicinanza is a published poet and visual artist who has resided in Southbury since 2016. Ms. Vicinanza has published  4 books of poetry, with 3 more on the way.  She was a nominee for State Poet Laureate in 2000 and the recipient of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts Advocate for the Arts Award in 2003.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.  Registration is required.
