The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

We're celebrating the 12th annual Take Your Child to the Library Day! Stop by the Youth Services department for our children's Open House Make or Take Craft-a-Thon! For teens, we'll have To-Go Craft Kits featuring Penguin Plushies and Beaded Snowflake Suncatchers!

For children, make your craft while your browse for books or take home a fun and exciting winter paper craft to make later! Appropriate for all ages, though young children may need assistance. While supplies last.

For teens, we’ll have To-Go Craft Kits that you can complete at home after visiting the library. These kits are aimed at Grades 6-12. While supplies last.

Our Craft-A-Thon and To-Go Craft Kits are free and open to residents of any town. They are both sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
