Join us for an afternoon of summer STEAM fun. We're making our own version of "fireworks" with safe, everyday household ingredients to celebrate the Fourth of July. Learn all about chemical reactions while having some messy fun. This program is suitable for grades 1-5. Children may need assistance.

What you'll need:  

baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

white vinegar

red, blue, silver glitter (add any colors you want!)

spoons

small squeeze bottle, syringe, or pipette for the vinegar

tray or dish to work in

plastic covering for your work area (tablecloth)
