Join CT author Keith Stoeckeler as he reads his new picture book, The Sparkly Bun! Copies of the book will be available for purchase after the reading.

About the book: In a world where fitting in is the norm, “The Sparkly Bun” shows children the importance of being true to oneself. Join Emme as she navigates the tricky world of schoolyard fashion. Emme loves her clothes and accessories, but she especially loves one item. When she wears it to school two days in a row, her friends start to tease her. Will Emme be able to learn the valuable lesson that being an individual is more important than fitting in with the crowd?

About the author: Keith Stoeckeler lives with his wife and two children in Connecticut. He experienced a moment of inspiration while reading a bedtime story to his daughter years ago, which led him to believe he could create a children's book. The idea of incorporating his love for cheeseburgers lingered in his mind for some time, and he was motivated to pursue the creation and completion of the book to provide a lasting gift for his children.
