Southbury Public Library is closed until further notice.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

Program Description

Event Details

What is it like to survive Middle School? Find out from people who have actually lived it! Our teen panel will talk about their own middle school experiences, and then answer questions. Hear stories, get tips, and gain confidence before entering middle school.

This event was rescheduled from its original date of Tuesday, August 20.

This event is just for rising middle schoolers, but we do have an event we are working on just for parents and adults. This event is open to residents of any town in Grades 6-8 and sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
