Come kickstart your writing for 2023.  Join Poet Laureate Faith Vicinanza for a writing workshop.  Explore the writing process through writing prompts and sharing your work.  The new year is the perfect time to work on a new skill.

Faith Vicinanza is a published poet and visual artist who has resided in Southbury since 2016. Ms. Vicinanza has published  4 books of poetry, with 3 more on the way. She was the host of the longest weekly poetry reading in state history. She also  created and directed a five day National Poetry Championship in Middletown in 1997 and the Connecticut Poetry Festival that same year. She was also a nominee for State Poet Laureate in 2000.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.  Registration is required.
