Southbury Public Library is closed until further notice.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

If you need assistance with anything related to your library card account, please call 203-262-0626 or email asksbylib@biblio.org.

Program Description

Event Details

Join us for this Make and Take Monday Meetup! Join us to work on your Emoji Cord Keeper together, or to chat about how it went (note: if you are planning on working on it together, having your felt cut out before the program will help). In the two weeks leading up to this program, pick up a physical Emoji Cord Keeper craft kit from the Second Floor of the Southbury Public Library. Each kit will have instructions and all supplies needed (except scissors).

No registration is required to take the kits, but registration is required to join us for the virtual meetup so we can be sure to email you the Zoom Link! The link will be sent out in the reminder email approximately 24 hours before the start of the program.

Please note: this event is not intended specifically as an instruction session, in part because your plush will probably take longer than an hour to complete. We are more than happy to answer questions, help troubleshoot any issues, tell you what's next, and chat, but this meeting will not be structured in the same way as our in-person Teen DIY programs were.
