Want to try an instrument that is fun and easy to play? Join Julie Stepanek as she shows the fundamentals of ukulele playing, which you really can learn in an hour. No experience necessary. Ukuleles provided, though if you already have one you are welcome to bring it.

About our presenter: Julie Stepanek is a musician and teacher from Western Massachusetts. She travels around New England teaching ukulele and performing.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone in Grades 6-12 regardless of town of residency. Registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library and is a part of our 2023 Summer Reading Program: Read Beyond the Beaten Path.
