Southbury Public Library is closed until further notice.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

If you need assistance with anything related to your library card account, please call 203-262-0626 or email asksbylib@biblio.org.

Program Description

Event Details

Please note: This event has had its date changed to March 1 from its original date of February 22 and its room changed from the Brown Room to the Kingsley Room.

Join us to chat about books over a mug of homemade hot chocolate (with all the fixings).

What have you read lately that's good? Are you looking for your next great read? Talk with other readers about books you’ve enjoyed, and get ideas from others about what to read next!

In addition to our homemade hot chocolate (contains dairy), we will also have dairy-free vegan hot chocolate mix.

Like all teen library programs, this event is free, open to residents of any town in Grades 6-12, and sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Registration is required as space is limited, so please sign up to let us know you are coming.
