Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available.

The library’s book drop is closed. For now, hold all returns or return them to any other Connecticut library. Please do not leave returns in front of the library. All Southbury fines will be waived.

Event Details

The Friends of the Southbury Public Library are hosting an online charity auction to benefit the Southbury Public Library. Items include antique books and sets, artwork, antiques, and collectibles. All bids start at $1! Please click here to participate.

The Friends have not been able to hold their annual book and collectibles sale due to COVID-19 restrictions. Proceeds from this online auction will support the Library's programs and services funded by the Friends for the benefit of the community.

Pickup is on Saturday, June 19, from 10:30am to 2:00pm. Local pickup only.
