Food Explorers Online: Sweet Potato Pies

Join us and Food Explorers from the comfort of your own kitchen to bake Sweet Potato Pies with Marshmallow Whipped Cream! You’ll be making your own pie crust and loading it with a deliciously creamy sweet potato filling, and topping it with a homemade marshmallow whipped cream.

You will need an electric mixer and pie dish and the following ingredients:

• 1 package vanilla instant pudding
• 1 can sweet potato puree
• milk
• brown sugar
• cinnamon
• 1 box graham crackers
• 1 stick butter, sugar
• 1 pint heavy cream
• 1 jar marshmallow fluff
• vanilla extract 

Registration is required as space is limited to allow time for instruction and questions. This event is over Zoom, and participants will be emailed the link the morning of the event. Like all teen programs, this event is free, open to residents of any town in Grades 6-12, and sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
