Join the Bent of the River Audubon Center for a special storytime featuring the books "Counting Birds" by Heidi Stemple and "Bird Builds a Nest" by Martin Jenkins. After listening to the stories, participants are invited to complete a bird-identification checklist and create your own bird nest using various materials.

"Bent of the River Audubon Center is a 700-acre nature sanctuary and education center located in Southbury, Connecticut. Along with Greenwich Audubon Center and Sharon Audubon Center, we are part of Audubon Connecticut, a state office of the National Audubon Society. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our trails, nature programs, and conservation-themed events throughout the year."
