Event Details

Join Food Explorers and get creative with a round of “Chopped”! In two teams, you’ll create energy bites from scratch, working together to select your ingredients and build your recipe, with a delicious round of taste testing at the end. All ingredients are nut free but may contain dairy

All food is nut free, but may contain dairy, eggs, or gluten.

 

About Food Explorers: Founded by Registered Dietician Katie Shepherd, Food Explorers empowers children and teens to learn about food, nutrition, and healthy eating through hands-on activities, games, and child and teen friendly cooking lessons. A UConn graduate, Katie took the plunge to create Food Explorers because she knew she wanted to work with kids and teens.
