Join Food Explorers for a flavorful fall dessert program! You’ll be making Biscoff Banana Trifles! If you’ve never tried Biscoff, then now is the time to try this aromatic and warmly spiced ingredient which pairs perfectly with banana in this layered dessert. Recipe is nut free but will contain dairy, eggs and gluten.
Please note: this event has moved locations to be at the Southbury Parks & Recreation Building at 561 Main Street South, in the Kitchen!
About Food Explorers: Founded by Registered Dietician Katie Shepherd, Food Explorers empowers children and teens to learn about food, nutrition, and healthy eating through hands-on activities, games, and child and teen friendly cooking lessons. A UConn graduate, Katie took the plunge to create Food Explorers because she knew she wanted to work with kids and teens. All Food Explorers instructors are Registered Dieticians who are passionate about providing kids and teens with knowledge about health and nutrition, empowering them to make their own healthy choices.
