Join us to play a virtual game of Call of Catthulhu, a role playing game (or RPG) like Dungeons and Dragons where you play as a character, interacting with other people playing as characters. Rather than dungeons or dragons, this game is set in a world where ordinary cats are all that are keeping the end of the world and other unfathomable horrors at bay. You and other players will take the roles of a variety of ordinary-seeming heroic cats fighting conspiracies of cosmic chaos.

Our adventure is set in a 1920s England manor house called Patterson Place, and our team of cats includes a motley mix of felines, from the spoiled housecat to the wily alley cat. The lady of the house has fallen ill, and it is up to the cats to figure out what happened. The other humans try to be helpful, but they can't help that they are not as observant or clever as the cats.

As usual, the silly humans have it all backwards, and even believe that they are in charge. They can’t see the great storm of chaos surrounding their tiny, fragile bubble of a world. But it’s a nice world. Cozy, with milk in it. And we like the people. They’re just so adorable, the way they pet us and open cans and try to understand. They have no idea what’s really going on, poor things, and we must protect them.

This program will be virtual over Zoom; we will be in touch with registrants before the program to talk about character creation options for who you would like to play.
