Join us as Brian Gillie sings and plays piano with a hearty dose of sensitivity, rhythm and mischief. Brian’s repertoire, from swing era, songbook standards, Hollywood, Broadway and ‘50s – ‘60s rock ‘n’ roll, is no sleepwalk down memory lane. His renditions are as fresh and crisp as the originals: Gershwin, Berlin, Doo-Wop, Elvis, Beatles and more, all revived in mint condition with a positive vibe, lighting a spark for hearts and minds at any phase of the journey.
Long-time music teacher, singer, dance choreographer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Gillie has been offering music, song and dance programs and concerts for ages 2 through 92 since 1983.
Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this event is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. Registration is Not Required.
