On Thursday, March 27 after 3pm, we will be closed at our Heritage Hotel location for everything except holds pick up. There will be no browsing available. Regular browsing resumes Friday, March 28 at 11am.

This book sale in the Basement by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library has a $20 Entrance Fee and is limited to a maximum of 20 buyers. Text your email address to 203-525-0199 to reserve your spot and receive a confirmation email; in order to attend you must be one of the first 20 buyers to text. For both the entrance fee and sale, cash and checks with ID are accepted; no credit cards accepted.

This special antiquarian book sale contains two years of collected antique books and ephemera collected since their last sale, including:

  • Sotheby's and Christie's Catalogues
  • Antique Books
  • First Editions
  • Civil War Books
  • Old and Interesting Books
  • Autographed Books
  • Ephemera, including postcards, magazines, maps, newspapers, and many other interesting treasures.

This sale differs in having an entrance fee and its emphasis from the general Friends annual basement sale as it is primarily aimed at antiquarian book dealers, however members of the general public may also attend provided they are one of the first 20 to text and pay the $20 entrance fee by cash or check.
