The Passport to Connecticut Libraries program runs from April 1–30, 2022! Pick up your Passport from either circulation desk and visit at least five participating libraries during April to enter for a chance to win a Visa gift card of up to $150!
Did you know you can use your hometown library card to visit ANY public library in the State of Connecticut? Your one library card can bring you to more than 140 libraries and 15 million books and other items!
Libraries all over Connecticut are participating in this year's Passport to Connecticut Libraries program to make people of all ages aware of the power of their library card. To participate. take your library card and passport to at least five libraries on the list to be eligible to win a $150 gift card for adults or a $100 gift card for children.
Guidelines & Contest Rules:
Visit any participating library to have your OWN passport stamped by a library employee and receive a token gift.
A valid library card must be presented when getting a stamp. The best way to get your stamp is to check out an item! Remember, you can always return items to your home library or ANY Connecticut public library.
Participate in one of two age groups: Adult (18 and up) or Child (under 18). Each age group will have two Visa gift card winners: one random drawing and one "Top Traveler". To be eligible to win, you must visit at least five (5) participating libraries.
The "Top Traveler" prize in each age group will be awarded to the patron who has visited the most eligible libraries. A tie will be broken by a random drawing.
Turn in your finished Passport to any participating library by Friday, May 6, 2022. Drawing will be held at the Woodbridge Town Library on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Two (2) adult winners (18 and up) will receive a $150 Visa gift card and two (2) child winners (under 18) will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
