Welcome to our new website! We are excited to bring our patrons a beautiful, new up-to-date calendar and lots of information and links we hope you will find useful.

Our fall programs continue with our Babies and Books, our storytime for ages 12-24 months, which continues until on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 10:30. Our Stories and More program will conclude on Wed. Nov. 25th at 10:30 and our Storytime for 2′s on Friday, Dec 5th at 10:30.

Our Drop in Storytime on Mondays at 10:30 and PJ Storytime on Thursdays at 6:00 are held year round and require no registration. We also have  Open House Crafts every Saturday throughout the year. Stop in any Saturday and enjoy putting together a special seasonal craft.

We have how to traintwo movie programs for November. Our Lunch Bunch indoor picnic and preschool movie will be the picture book version of  “Red Riding Hood and Other Tales” on Thursday, Nov. 20th at noon in the Children’s Program room and the Movies and Munchies film will be ”How To Train Your Dragon Two” on Friday, Nov. 14th at 6:00pm.  

Our booktalk groups for November will also be meeting. Our KinderClub for kindergartners will be held on Monday, Nov. 17th at  4:15, and  Pageturners for grades 1 & 2 meets on Wed, Nov. 19th at 4:15. Snacks and Stories for girls in grades 4 and up will be held on Thursday, Nov 6th at 4:15.

The Wii Have Fun club is meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18th at 4:15. This is intended for grades 1-4 and registration is required. If you like Legos, then sign up for our Lego to the Library for our next meeting on Friday, Nov. 7th at 4:15.

To kick off the holiday season, we are delighted to welcome back the Main Street Ballet of Woodbury. They will be presenting selections nutcrackerfrom “The Nutcracker Suite” in the Kingsley Room on Friday, November 21nd at 6:00 p.m.

 It will be presented in an interactive storytelling format, where the children in the audience are invited to become a part of the story and join the dancers on stage.  

Children ages 3 and up are invited to attend and registration is required. It can be done by stopping in the Children’s Department or calling (203) 262-0626, ext. 3.
